Go Microsoft! An annoying reminder that is really hard to figure out how to disable.
Boot.ini is whack. After a lot of searching, I finally found a page that kind of describes what the options of boot.ini are. So I finally got my D:\ drive root eeepc to boot nicely. The weird boot.ini is a remnant of the USB install I did of XP, I think.
