MS1057 – Gentoo Installed
Eh, I started this blog post a long time ago, I’ve been using Gentoo for quite a while.
After a frustrating string of events that aren’t worth cataloging here, Gentoo is installed.
Ok, I’ll say a bit about it. I found this page on the MS1039 on gentoo wiki. Brilliant! I may have to start the MS1057 page.

The machine continues to amaze. Recently I made a short DVD video using kino, my canon optura s1*, and the built-in 4 pin firewire (ieee1394) port.
Check back on the wiki for any updates on the hardware under gentoo.
*technology depreciates so fast. sigh.
